When: Sunday, 17 September, 2017 - 11:00 to 17:00
Join StreetInvest at their Family Fun Day to mark the 40th Twinning Anniversary between Richmond Borough and Fontainebleau, a historic town located south on Paris and to welcome home the 18 cyclists who will have ridden 263 miles from Fontainebleau in aid of the charity . Local charity StreetInvest supports street children around the world and this year is reaching out to marginalised and excluded young people in the UK.
With its focus on local children, activities will include a mini bike/scooter track, face painting, balloon modelling, giant bubble making, caricature artist, an arts and crafts area, and more.
Live music on the day will be performed by The Basement Door’s young musicians, school choirs, The Elastic Band and singalong group Vocal Tonix. Adults can also look forward to beer and wine sampling from Twickenham Fine Ales and Oddbins.
